Is TGDocs safe to use with my personal Telegram account?
Yes. TGDocs executes 100% inside your web browser. When you log in, your browser communicates directly with Telegram's official servers via Telegram's official MTProto protocol over secure WebSockets (wss://*.web.telegram.org). There are no intermediary proxy servers, databases, or third-party loggers.
Can TGDocs or anyone else see my files?
No. All files uploaded through TGDocs are stored in a private channel or in your Saved Messages inside your own Telegram account. No third-party server ever receives or holds your files. Only you, with your Telegram authentication credentials, have access to them.
What is the file size limit and storage capacity?
Telegram provides unlimited total cloud storage. Standard Telegram accounts can upload individual files up to 2 GB each. Users with Telegram Premium can upload individual files up to 4 GB each.
What happens to my files if I log out or close TGDocs?
Your files remain completely safe in Telegram Cloud! Logging out of TGDocs only wipes your local browser session token and metadata cache. When you log back in on any browser, TGDocs reads your private metadata channel and restores your full folder tree automatically. You can also view and download every file directly inside official Telegram mobile or desktop apps.
Is TGDocs free? Are there any subscriptions?
TGDocs is 100% free and open-source under the MIT license. There are no subscription tiers, no hidden storage fees, and no paywalls.
How do I revoke TGDocs access from my Telegram account?
You can either click "Log Out" inside TGDocs, or open your official Telegram app on your phone/computer and go to Settings → Devices → Active Sessions. Tap on the "TGDocs Cloud Web" session and choose Terminate Session.
